Der Chao Phraya erstreckt sich &uuml;ber eine L&auml;nge von 372 Kilometern und flie&szlig;t durch die Hauptstadt Bangkok, bevor er in den Golf von Thailand m&uuml;ndet.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Der Chao Phraya hat eine wichtige historische Bedeutung f&uuml;r Thailand, da er einst als wichtige Handelsroute diente und somit auch die Entwicklung des Landes ma&szlig;geblich beeinflusste. Heute wird der Fluss noch immer als wichtiger Transportweg genutzt, und viele Touristen nutzen die Schiffe, um die Sehensw&uuml;rdigkeiten entlang des Flusses zu besichtigen. In Bangkok beispielsweise kann man mit dem Boot zum Gro&szlig;en Palast fahren, die Anlegestelle am Fluss befindet sich nur einige hundert Meter entfernt vom K&ouml;nigspalast (Gro&szlig;er Palast).<\/p>\n<p>Es gibt viele Sehensw&uuml;rdigkeiten entlang des Chao Phraya, darunter der bekannte K&ouml;nigspalast, der Tempel Wat Arun und der Tempel Wat Phra Kaew.
